A note about our events . . . . .

NAMI Butler County sponsors and supports numerous mental health events throughout the year. One of our primary goals is to increase public awareness of both the nature of mental illness and the social, emotional and political repercussions experienced by its sufferers and their families. We do this through offering a variety of free educational workshops for the families of loved ones suffering from mental illness, monthly educational meetings open to the public, social events for those suffering from mental illness and annual fundraisers including our NAMIWalks (Saturday, October 8th this year). Each year we also honor various members of the community who have done outstanding work in the field of mental health. We hope you will take a moment to learn about our signature events and consider getting involved as a volunteer.
