2012 WALK DATE HAS NOW BEEN ANNOUNCED!!!

NAMI Walks for the Mind of America will be Held on October 13th!

NAMI Butler County will hold its 7th annual NAMI Walks for the Mind of America on Saturday, October 13, 2012. Our walk, held in unison with other NAMI walks across the country, promotes mental health awareness and is our major fund-raising event each year.

Starting Location and Registration: Fitton Center for Creative Arts, 101 South Monument Drive in downtown Hamilton.

Check-in Time: 8:30 AM to 1:00 AM

Start Time: 10:00 AM 

Attention Team Captains: It's never too early to start thinking about our 2012 walk. We will soon begin signing up our team captains. 

Volunteers Needed: This year we are looking for volunteers interested in taking a major role in helping up put together our walks. More information about specific jobs will be appearing soon so check back often!

Intern Wanted: We are actively taking resumes for a Walk Chairperson to oversee our 2012 Walk. This could be a volunteer or non-paid student intern looking to earn school credit, or a great addition to their resume, through experience with our national organization. • Registration and parking are free.
• We provide free refreshments (including coffee, hot chocolate and doughnuts) and entertainment.
• Furry friends on leashes, strollers and wee walkers with adults are all welcome to join in the fun!
• Tee shirts are free with $100 plus in individual donations.
• Remember, your participation shows our community that mental health matters!
